The Story Behind the Prints
My name is Keith Hollingsworth, and I paint the sea.
I live in Essex — home to what is arguably the longest county coastline in the UK (though Cornwall might have something to say about that). For many years I spent my time on that coastline windsurfing, reading the water, watching the light shift across the estuary and out to open sea. That deep, physical connection to the coast never left me. It found its way into my art.
From Canvas to Canvas Print
I work primarily in acrylics, drawn to their immediacy and the way they capture the energy of moving water and changing skies. Each painting begins with a scene I know — a stretch of shoreline, a particular quality of light, the feeling of being out on the water.
Recently, I began offering my paintings as high-quality canvas prints. The reason is simple: I want more people to be able to live with this work. An original painting can only go to one home. A carefully produced canvas print, made to the same exacting standards, means the art can travel further — and I hope bring the same sense of calm and connection to the sea that making the painting gave me.
Quality You Can See
Every print is produced to museum-quality standards — rich colour, fine detail, and a finish that does justice to the original brushwork. Whether framed or unframed, each piece is made to be lived with, not just looked at.
Thank you for being here. I hope something catches your eye.
